I originally created the Inaki brand for my final Certificate 4 assignment, but over time it evolved into something that went far beyond the brief.
"Inaki"  is a Basque male-given name which translates to fiery. I chose this name because I liked its meaning, sound and balanced look.
The logo itself was inspired shark teeth, stealth bombers and heavy metal band word-marks.

My vision for the posters was to make them look like prototypes, deconstructed and minimal. All the information about the T-shirts being worn in the photograph is present on the "sticker" . This allowed me to play with the composition of the posters after the  photographs were taken and the principle graphic placement was finalised. It continues the deconstructed idea and plays with hierarchy.

Above is a promotional image I illustrated for the brand. I wanted to create a detailed graphic that encompasses all the elements that make Inaki what it is. The drawing itself was created using Procreate on iPad, it took 15 hours to complete and taught me alot about illustration and visual story telling.
