Over the course of my study, I have had the opportunity to design multiple album covers.
Indigo De Souza
For a Certificate IV assignment, I was tasked with redesigning a musician's album covers. I chose Indigo De Souza as they were quite small at the time and I got a lot of meaning out of their music.
Indigo De Souza's first album "I Love My Mom". I listened to the album closely and drew images I felt represented the music. There are some reused drawings from my Inaki project too.

De Souza's EP, "don't cry just do" had 3 songs. I represented each with a 3D pattern I created using a procedural generating application.

Hozier
I chose to design 2 album covers for Hozier. I was inspired by the themes of his songs but I didn't want to literally represent what he sang about. The goldfinch represents themes of  being stuck in the Catholic Church or a toxic relationship. The Orange cover highlights the more alternative sound found in the album and leans into the anti-design aesthetic.
